In this article, I will tell you how to set up your Computer/Laptop for an auto shutdown.
There are 2 Simple methods of shutting down your computer.
Method 1
Step 1: Go to the Search bar and type cmd and run cmd as an Administrator.
Step 2: In cmd type shutdown -s -t 3600 ( 3600 means time in seconds, Such as 3600 seconds i.e 60 Minutes) and press enter.
After pressing the Enter, instantly you are able to notice one notification popping up in the lower right corner of the desktop computer to inform you that you're going to be signed from Windows 10 and computer will shut down in your scheduled time. The message will disappear.
Method 2
Just press Win + R from the keyboard. The Dialogue box will appear on the left bottom side of the screen.
Apply the same procedure as mention in method 1 and press enter.
You can set the timer depending on your needs.
In case if you want to cancel auto-shutdown your Pc/laptop. Again press Win + R to open a dialogue box and type Shutdown -a for canceling.
This Notification will appear in the lower right corner.
