Most of the times many users face this problem that's the mouse stop responding and not to do any task.

There are three methods that are briefly explained in this article to solve the problem mouse of the laptop is not working.

Method 1

Performing a clean boot:

Usually, apps and services that start up and continue running in the background are the cause of your mouse’s issues with its drag and drop function. To proceed with it, access your computer using an administrator account.

Step 1:
           Open Run application by pressing (Window+R) on the keyboard.

Step 2:
          The type MSConfig, and press the Enter button. System Configuration dialog box will be open.

Step 3:
            Then go to the Services tab.

Step 4:
            Tick mark the box Hide all Microsft Services and then click on Disable all and then Click on the Apply button.

Step 5:
           Then move over the Startup tab and click on the Open Task Manager.

Step 6:
           Then close the Task Manager.

Step 7:
             Then Click on OK or Reboot your system.

Method 2

Run a DISM Tool:

 Basically, DSIM is Deployment Image Servicing and Management. A DSIM tool will help you deal with corruption errors that happen due to system files that are damaged. Step 1: First, go to the search bar and type cmd there and then run it as an administrator.

Step 2:  
          Here type the following commands and press Enter.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Step 3:      
         After doing this Reboot your system.

Method 3

Installing Window Updates:

Another solution to solve this problem is to let Window update.

Step 1:           
           For this process, go to the search bar and type Windows Update settings and open it. The windows updating dialog box will be open.

Step 3:
          After opening it, You will see either your System window is up-to-date or not.

Step 4:
         If your Window is not Up-to-date. You need to install all the updates and reboot the System.
